About the Exceptional Service ProjectThe MASC/MAHS Exceptional Service Project Award is an opportunity for all of our member schools to showcase a service project they have completed. ANY service project, big, small, complex, simple, there are no limits to which service project can be submitted! The project does not have to be original, unique, or special in any way. In 2011-2012, this is no longer strictly open to honor society chapters. Any MASC/MAHS member student council, leadership class, honor society, or student organization (or any combination of the above) may submit to be recognized. The committee is looking for well-organized projects that challenge the student group and serve the community in some way. Schools that submit high-quality applications will be awarded with the Exceptional Service Project Award at the MASC/MAHS State Conference. Each year, up to ten (10) Exceptional Service Projects are awarded. |

The Nomination ProcessThe service project that you nominate must take place no earlier than April of the PREVIOUS school year Keep these tips and tricks in mind before submitting your nomination!
