Class Content
Course Description:
Train students to be mentors and tutors to our middle school students. We form a professional learning community and write our own vision, mission, and set goals. The first half of the hour we discuss things that are going on at school and how our mentees and tutees are doing. The mentors go and get our middle school students who need extra help and work with them for the second half of the hour. The class is called Educational Leadership, but the program we offer to the middle school is called HIVE (Helping Individual Vandals Excel).
Special Projects:
We also put out a weekly newsletter for the middle school and high school.
