Leadership Class Academy

ClassroomLeadership classes provide schools with the opportunity to work with students in-depth on leadership growth. Whether it is offered as an elective, social studies credit or something else, the struggle for many leadership class teachers is what, where, and how...

  • What do I teach in a leadership class?
  • Where can I find resources and support for my class?
  • How do I put the curriculum together and grade it?

Honor Society Advisers' Workshop

Climbing the Paperwork Mountain

The biggest mistake an honor society adviser makes is assuming that the adviser before was doing it all the right way. While unfortunate, when an honor society chapter is "passed on" from one adviser to the next, the new adviser picks up and continues along, never questioning how or why things are done the way they are done. It is imperative that an honor society adviser understands the NHS/NJHS Constitution and how it must be carried out. The adviser needs to know that the chapter they are running is legit and meaningful.
