Program Overview
Middle Level Liftoff is a one-day, high-energy leadership experience built specifically for middle school students who are ready to step up.
This isn’t just about exposure to leadership.
It’s about helping students function as a real team and walk away with a clear plan for their school year.
Every part of the day is designed to answer one question:
“What are we actually going to do when we get back to school?”
What Makes Liftoff Different
Most middle school leadership events focus on engagement.
Liftoff focuses on application.
Students don’t just participate in activities, they:
- Understand group dynamics
- Practice communication techniques
- Learn to manage teams effectively
- Explore event planning fundamentals
- Strengthen team-building skills
- Develop essential soft skills
- Improve time management
- And more—all designed for new leaders!
By the end of the day, teams leave aligned, motivated, and ready to lead.
What Students Work On
Throughout the workshop, student teams actively build:
- Building confidence to step up, take initiative, and grow as a leader
- Learning how to communicate clearly, listen to others, and work together
- Understanding what makes a great team and how everyone plays an important role
- Gaining hands-on skills to plan activities, organize events, and lead peers
- Developing simple, effective strategies to stay organized, manage time, and balance responsibilities
- Taking pride in their leadership role, supporting their teammates, and making a positive impact at school
This isn’t theory. These are tools students take back and use immediately.
The Leadership Lab Experience
Great leaders don’t all lead the same way. The Leadership Lab helps students find their voice, step outside their comfort zones, and discover the kind of leader they want to become.
Through hands-on experiences, students will:
- Take risks, try new approaches, and learn from mistakes
- Solve problems and make decisions as a team
- Recognize their strengths and grow their confidence
- Turn what they learn into positive action at school

$60/person for students/adults of member schools
$70/person for students/adults of non-member schools

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made seven (7) calendar days or more in advance of the training date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made after this date, including no-shows, are nonrefundable.
