2025 Award Deadline: January 31st
The Quilt Award is derived from the individuality of a quilt square, something so unique that comes together in unity to contribute to a whole masterpiece. A Quilt serves as a symbol of how there is unity in diversity, equity, inclusion, and beauty when all the unique squares come together.
The MASC/MAHS Quilt Award is an opportunity for all of our member schools to showcase and recognize a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion project initiative they have completed. The Quilt Award will be given to a school community or group that has solidified a program or project to take purposeful and tangible actions in efforts to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Any project can be submitted! The project does not have to be original or unique. Any student council, leadership class, honor society, or student organization (or any combination of the above) may submit to be recognized. The committee is looking for well-organized projects/programs that have had a lasting unifying and empowering impact within its school or community.
The TOP 3 Quilt Award recipients will be recognized at the MASC/MAHS State Conference this February.
